The World Trade Link service is operated by World Link for Law®, an international network of independent law firms.

World Link for Law offers a range of free business information:

1. World Link for Law's international company formation guide. It identifies different types of company formation options and general procedural requirements in various countries around the world. Free download (PDF format)

2. By selecting a country on the World Link for Law web site, you can receive country specific business information on:

(a) Commercial property acquisition
(b) Labour/employment law issues
(c) Company formation options
(d) Debt collection methods

Go to the Business Information page of the World Link for Law website and select the country of your choice. Here, you can also obtain social and economic information in relation to each country, useful links for that country, and links to World Link for Law member firms, if required.

3. World Link for Law has worked together as a team to produce:

(a) a Mergers and Acquisitions Due Diligence Check List. This identifies issues and subjects that a purchaser of a business or company may ask a seller. It is an 'international cross-border' document, but it may need to be customised to suit specific locations, situations or countries.

(b) an Agency and Distribution Agreement Checklist, identifying key issues in international cross-border agency and distribution agreements in relation to relevant laws.
